Installed easily. Works Flawlessly. But, the other day, the nob wouldn't return completely, and didn't completely turn water off. Plus, There were thumping noises and knocking in the pipes. When I opened/removed the stem, the screw that holds the washer was loose. Corrected that and it's again all systems go.

Fit perfectly and by replacing it myself I dodged the plumber who quoted the job at $650!

DANCO valve is OK but thought it was defective after one week and eventually replaced it with another one - Genuine Central Brass. Upon removal I saw the bibb washer screw was very loose and this was creating the issue with pulsation. Check the screw before you install in the valve and make sure it's tight.

Easy to install this direct replacement HOT water stem. Turns past 1/4 but not more than 1 and a quarter turns.

Awesome stem for the kitchen sink, but didn't work out. Our sink in the kitchen is...WEIRD and so old-fashioned.
