The large left handed thread connectors where very hard to screw on using normal tools. I had to go to Auto mechanical shop and borrow two large channel lock pliers to install. Very hard to maneuver!

The spillway was my last component to my pond. I did a dry fit to all my abs pipes, and excitedly pluged in my pump. It was a beautiful flow from the spillway. My barrel filters ran great, my uniseals held tight, and there were some small leakages around the dry fittings. At the spillway, I first noticed some leaks and thought it was from the dry fittings. Upon closer inspection, water was leaking from the bottom of the spillway. To my dismay, I turned off my pump and found a crack in the plastic at the bottom of the spillway. The prestine packaging gave no indication that the product inside was damaged. I initiated a refund, but the product is no longer in stock. Bummer to a potentially exciting day for my pond.

I bought this for a waterfall feature that connects one koi pond to another. It was easy to install, depending on how you use it, very sturdy, and works great.
