Works great to fill chips and scratches in all types of light colored wood. It doesn't shrink upon drying and takes stain and finishing well. Its easy to uses and needs to set overnight or all day in order to dry well.

Was just looking for a minimal (and least expensive) amount of "Natural Latex Plastic Wood". Almost passed on this purchase, because of a large number of accounts in these customer reviews that consistency of the product once opened and used was either hard as a rock, or too runny. My experience was (thankfully) less dramatic. Consistency was workable, and (previously widened) small holes in ash wood filled with product accepted re-insertion of the original wood screws after several hours of curing. No problems with the treated areas. Evacuated as much air as possible from the inside of the tube before tightly closing after use. A couple months later, the tightly closed tube still feels flexible upon squeezing, indicating that the product (so far, after a few months time) remains viable for future use. Glad that I did not let the several "negative reviews" scare me off.

Better buy online, great color and dries very hard. Love the tube. Easy to reseal.

I recently had to fix a door jam that had become loose due to the screws losing their grip. After some research, I decided to give this plastic wood a try. I'm so glad I did! It was incredibly easy to use and provided a sturdy anchor for the screws. I simply applied it to the holes, and let it dry. Once it was dry, I was able to easily screw in the screws without any issues. The plastic wood hardened nicely and provided a solid base for the screws to hold onto. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to fix a similar issue. It saved me time and money compared to having to replace the entire door jam.

Super easy to work with. Dries matter. Cleans up easily with water, even after it dries (needs to be sealed. Is not waterproof).I used this to fill small gaps in my self-installed bathroom flooring. (I said I did it. I didn’t say I did it WELL.) Worked great and saved me the trouble of having to try to fit minuscule scrap pieces into the gaps. Sealed with clear matte waterproof glue.
