I am using this to repair a 1/4" thick replacement floor in an old house. The floor has flaked off in thin strips and I'm using this filler because the info says it is a resin. After sanding the filler flat I found the filler was not the exact color of the floor and used Acrylic artists color to match the wood and the grain of the wood. Then I sprayed the result with clear matte Rust-oleum to match the non-glossy wood floor. The future will see if it lasts.

Good wood filler but not stainable. Covers with paint great but ruined a wood stained project. Tried for 3 days to get it to absorb stain, no luck. Had to sand all the product out and refill with another product. Be prepared to fi nail holes twice and.it does sink in.
