I used this adhesive to install base trim over a year ago. It's holding up with no issues. Pretty easy to work with and cleans up easily if you get to it before it dries. I'd purchase again if the need arises.

I made the mistake of buying too much trim and not enough adhesive. Like - WAY not enough. I think I ended up needing something like 4 of these for each box of trim. Anyway - once you get going with it, it works well enough. It's not super tacky, but once it dries it's pretty solid. Just don't get started on your project if you don't have enough adhesive, or you will have to wait for more (all the other "like" options we tried sucked - don't even get me started on the liquid nail we attempted.)

I was very nervous because I had never installed cove and had no idea what would be inside this bucket. It turned out to be thick and frosting like, similar to a ready-made mortar without the grit. It was super easy to spread, very soft and thick. I used a plastic paddle with the grooves in it. I was applying it over old glue on cove that I had removed, spray painted, and was reinstalling. It went right over the top, filling in all the gaps and making a nice layer for itself. I was afraid it might not adhere or that it would buckle, but it went on nice and thick and smooth and smushed right in. I was able to push the cove against the wall and run my finger along it to wipe off the excess that smushed out when I pushed it to adhere. It wiped off very easily with no mess. Despite it not seeming sticky, it adhered immediately and well. I went back a few times and pressed where it had started to come away from the wall, and it seems to have all stuck on nicely as it dried. I installed about 12 ft of cove, and it took about 3/4 of the bucket.Although it says it was white, it was actually a light gray that tried to a darker gray. That was awesome, because so was my cove. But if you are expecting a bright toothpaste white, it is not.

Patched part of my driveway. Quite deep, so to avoid cracking I had to do many layers. Very humid here, so it took a day or so for each layer. Color difference between the patch and my 1980s driveway is not as noticeable as I thought it would be.

We have the vinyl baseboard in the bathroom which needed some work due to old water damage discovered while painting. Once the plumbing issue was taken care of and the wallboard replaced, we needed an adhesive to replace the vinyl baseboard so it would be flush with the wall. DAP 25053 was the best price for a small quantity (better than hardware retailers) and the adhesive worked great. Should I need this type of adhesive again I would purchase it on Amazon and from the same seller since both fast shipping (during the Christmas season) and price were just what I was looking for.

I used this to adhere the base trim in my garage. No rippling, bulging or pulling away from the wall and we’ve had varying temperatures in the Midwest summer. No issues. Very pleased.

good product, strong grip, the initial tack, a little weak, pressure need to be applied for good application with the proper tool.
