These socks are warm and comfortable inside ski boots. I like the fact that they are made in Vermont and that they are guaranteed for life. What I didn't like was that I ordered these socks for Christmas on December 2nd and even though they were in stock at the time, I did not receive them until January 3rd.

I never get callouses or blisters during a partcular activity. The same day I ever wore Darn Toughs, they started to wear on me.I have other brands of thicker and wool socks which are more comfortable and don't wear on my feet, thus I'll be buying more of those in the future.Not sure what material Darn Tough's are made of, but it's not soft.Nothing _wrong_ with them. I just won't be purchasing ever again.

Sadly they've changed things at Darn Tough. The socks are too long now and of course the AMAZING ones I purchased 3 years ago are now not available. These are a tiny bit scratchy, which someone else in another review says about them too. They must have incorporated a cheaper material into the socks now to save money. They're also far too long. They go to the bottom of my knee which is annoying. I have to fold the top of the sock down to put it where it belongs. The only reason I bought these was because a friend tried to dry my old ones near a fire when snowmobiling and burnt them. Otherwise I would still be enjoying the amazing socks that Darn Tough used to create.
