There are other ski/snowboard socks that are thicker, but these are hard to beat when on sale for a few dollars a pair. I wear size 10.5 boots and bought Large, which ended up a little skinnier and run a tad tight. For this steal of a price it might be worth buying an extra pack in a size larger (XL) for comparison sake.Regardless, its so nice to not spend $25-$50/pair like sun and ski or REI. Other sellers do have thicker merino socks in the $10-$15 pair range on here. Those would possibly be more preferable for hiking or just casual walking in the winter, but skiers and snowboarding these are probably ideal fitment.Don't forget to buy some toe warmers for long days and happy feet.

Nice length, my s/o was doing snow removal at night from 9 PM to 6 AM. They kept him warm he said as long as he was moving.. again they are thin so just standing without any friction they were OK still. So he can layer them since they are thin which he really likes. They seem to be durable in his opinion! Definitely worth the money

These perform well in cold weather (below freezing). I like the height so that I can easily wear my winter boots comfortably. These are comfortable and are just right for thickness - not too thick that I can’t wear my favorite gear, but thick enough that I don’t have frozen toes either! So far they’re durable - no holes! I don’t really think about stretchiness for my socks but they offer enough give and take that they go on/off easy.

Wore these for the first time (finally!) on a recent ski trip. The socks were very warm, as I'd expect for a marino blend, and kept my tootsies warm throughout the day. I also tend to sweat but I didn't notice it with these. There was no smell after a day of use (thanks Merino!). They fit great and wash well as well. No complaints.

I'm not a winter sport fanatic, but do run cold. I like these socks for house use, they keep me warm and I like the length and fit, they are medium thickness. Would recommend!!

These are great for outdoor winter activities. Nice and tight to keep swelling down but also very warm and quality socks. Ive washed them several times and they have survived. Overall very good socks.
