My husband wears thermals under his uniform about 10 months of the year. He hates when his socks fall down and he has to pull his flannel pant legs up, pull the socks up, and then, pull the flannels down over the top of the socks. (No, he won't try wearing the flannels on the outside of the socks.) With these socks he gets warmth, cushioning, and socks that fit well and stay up all day. I'm happy if he's happy and I am buying more.

These are so comfortable warm and soft. I wore them for over 2 hours with a blower on my back and never had to pull them up at all.

I bought these for Colorado ski trip and they stood up for the competition of the cold. Feet stayed warm, great fit and stretchy.

These socks are too thick for ski boots. I took these skiing in Europe and the socks are too thick. If you have custom boots that are designed to keep your feet locked in, then these socks will cut off your blood circulation. However, snowboarders will probably love them as they are super soft, long, and very warm. I would not recommend these socks for skiers, but if you're hiking or looking for something to wear in regular shoes, than these are for you.
