FABULOUS! The socks are so soft, yet supportive at the same time. I can assure you that this is, “a top drawer” purchase. And a cut above any other sock on the market. Yes, am that meticulous with footwear and this adds so much comfort. The socks make a huge difference. I walk miles a day, and the additional comfort that the socks bring is extraordinary. In addition, my feet are happy as they remain dry all day long. Happy Feet 🦶, I can assure! The value is there. The fit perfect (see the chart to choose appropriate size). These socks do not, “ride up,” on the foot. They remain in place to assure comfort throughout the day. And as an added bonus, the colors are beautiful. They match the color chart that Amazon displays. Wow 😮 Terrific purchase.Made in the USA 🇺🇸

I have bought Darn Tough merino wool socks many times. First, I tried them out, then I recommended them to my wife and now she wants no other make of socks. Initially we used them only for hiking, but now my wife uses them for almost all purposes, especially during cold weather.Don't be fooled by the seemingly high price. They outlast any other socks we have used during many tens of years of hiking. If washed gently, they do not seem to age at all. In other words, the total cost of ownership is lower than the 'cheap' competitors -- never mind the pleasure of wearing such comfortable socks.

I loved the fit, style and quality of these socks however I did send them back only because I was not looking for cushioned socks and money is tight otherwise I would have kept them!!

Every pair has a lifetime replacement policy for wear and tear. They hold up well, and have great cushioning.

I love Darn Tough socks. My first pair I bought about seven years ago and they still fit and look like new. These are my go to hiking socks. They are super supportive, comfortable and a great buy given how long they last.

Another update: I washed and tried these "Moss Heather" a second time. This time they came out the same size as the Plum Heather. I'm ordering another pair, for our daughter.Update: I bought a second pair, also size large, in "Moss Heather". Washed and dried just the same as the first pair, Plum Heather. As you can see they are now entirely different sizes. The Plum Heather fit much better. the Moss Heather are OK but bigger than I'd like. After reading quite a number of reviews I decided to order the large. I wear a shoe size 9 which are a bit roomy. I've washed them in warm water with the rest of the load, and dried on low heat. They shrank a tiny bit so that they fit perfectly. I could have worn them as they were before the wash and dry but they fit better this way. I washed, and dried, them in a medium zipper net laundry bag, my preferred way to wash socks, bras, long johns, etc., with another pair of socks.I ordered the Plum Heather and the Moss Heather Hiker 1/4 Cushion Sock. Later I got a notice that the Moss Heather pair were cancelled, unavailable. Once the Plum pair arrived and I saw I liked them I went on line and found that REI near by could get the Moss pair at their store in a few days. I'm picking those up tomorrow.I'm not hiking in these. They're an everyday sock right now, winter in San Francisco. Very happy with these. I've worn Thorlos with my muck boots for years, also a great sock but too heavy/thick for my street shoes. I like the height of this "Hiker 1/4".Very happy they are made in the US.

Love these! The only warm sock I will purchase for myself and family. The quality is great and they last for several years.

These socks look great and feel very comfortable. I believe that they can keep your feet warm and provide plenty support. However, the size runs too small. My shoes are size 7.5 and I ordered a size M socks (runs from shoe size 7.5-9.5). These pair of socks runs very tight on my feet. I doubt very much that they can fit up to shoe size 9.5.

After purchasing an awesome pair of RedBack Aussie boots a couple of months back, and breaking them in, I have been looking for a sock that does not slip or get sloppy and bunches while wearing my everyday dog walking footwear. And FINALLY have found them ---- Yes I did read several reviews about them being a bit pricey, but as they are manufactured in Vermont USA I crossed my fingers and ordered them, so glad I did. Amazon delivered them last nite and I put them on this morning. I turned them inside out to inspect the stitching and thread, and was delighted to see the excellent quality, 1st they fit perfect and I immediately noted the heel cushioning. 2nd the slide into my boots was supper easy and NO bunching of the sock. Then took my boy out for a 4km walk. Happily my feet were comfortable and not aching by the time we got home. So off to amazon to order another pair.

Absolutely love them. So soft, warm and comfortable. No seams that hurt your toes. Beautiful colours too. Not cheap but have a lifetime guarantee.

Super comfy, best hiking socks I own. Not sure about the lifetime guarantee, as it’s only been a few wears, but they have additional stitching in spots that would need it. Buy these now!

On a couple of 10 to 14km hikes, the socks were comfortable and no odor even after 2 wearings without wash. Worth the price.

These socks are very thick, soft and unfortunately do not fit wide feet. I passed these on to my mom as she has narrow feet.
