This makes great popcorn, looks good (I love the old-times green), and packs up pretty well. But cleaning it isn’t easy, the piece that snaps onto the bottom of the bowl falls off easily, and the cover for the top of the cooking surface that you’re supposed to put on when storing it doesn’t snap on at all. It just sits there, waiting to fall off. Not sure how that made it through the QA part of the design phase.

There are many ways to pop corn now. It wasn't always this way though. This popcorn popper is an updated version of the type we used to use when I was a kid. When microwave popcorn became available, it was so convenient to stick a bag in. Later, I read that some of the ingredients in the store bought microwave popcorn were not totally safe. We got a silicone bowl from Amazon and made our own microwave popcorn. This method was easy, cheaper than store bought, convenient, and fast. However, if you want to add butter, you had to melt it and then spoon it on the popped corn. This popper eliminated that since the top has slits that melts the butter while the corn is popping. The wire inside rotates and keeps the popped corn from getting burned. The first time I used this popper, there were no "old maids". Now that's impressive! Now, sometimes there may be 3 or 4, but they are cooked and crunchy. The plastic bowl is top shelf dishwasher safe. Good product and good buy.

I had this on my list for a couple weeks. I'm cheap and even though it's cheaper in cost then some I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money for a popcorn maker I might use once every couple weeks. Well I got it because our air popcorn maker was awful. This machine makes the best popcorn. Just like movie theater popcorn. Very quiet. Reasonably fast especially for popping a large bowl. I love that you already have the bowl with it after popping and a super plus a lid that snaps on tight. It's also pretty sturdy and packs up well. The price is actually pretty reasonable compared to the prices of a movie theater popcorn maker.

I use this all the time and it makes perfect popcorn each time. Only thing i would say thats slightly annoying about it is when you flip it after the popcorn is made if you used butter. Sometimes it leaks all down the sides making a big greasy mess. But if you can get over that and don't mind wiping things down after then its still a perfect popcorn maker !

Está muy padre el diseño y funciona bien, yo tengo una de aire nostalgia y deja las palomitas chiclosas. A esta se le pone poco aceite y deja muy ricas y criujentes, fácil de utilizar.
