I have used these exact plates before and I find them convenient and practical. Once the wiring thru a wall is complete, simply attached these split plates without having to re~route the wires.I position and measure, drill the holes, use plastic inserts, add the bolt, push both top and bottom halves together. Adjust as necessary.NOTE: I used the bolts sent with the plates but used the #6 x 1-1/4" size plastic inserts in the picture. Everything fit perfectly.

These covered the hole and my cords easily pull through. My walls look so much better with the holes covered. Good value.

This is by far my favorite wall plate to use. It works very well with all types of coax, ethernet cables and siamese cabling. You literally install this plate after you are finished with your runs. It comes in 2 very flexible halves and simply closes around the cable and snaps together with ease. I have used this plate many times, it will cover up to an inch and a half hole in diameter. Only down side that I see is the cost, it is a somewhat pricey item to purchase but so far it has been great for every job.

I don’t like the idea that it splits in half but it was the cheapest one I could find for what it does. Outside of my personal preference, the product itself is great.

These are very easy to mount, if your cables come through a standard electrical wall box (as in photo)

These cable passthroughs are wonderful. No worries about the head-sizes on the cords you're running from one room to another.We used them for our security cam system and hiding theater cables behind the wall.Easy to install and use.

I love it. Snaps together easily. And you don't have to pull wires back through, just slide the two parts of the plate around. Very useful for larger power plugs that don't fit through the more common pass through plates. And existing wires you don't want to undo. Definitely worth it!
