Well designed instructions. You'll need an electric driver to tighten screws. But you'll need a manual Phillips-head screw driver to tighten the cams. No alcohol before this task because the instructions do require you to think quite a bit (ok if the curve is away from me...then I must be looking at the back piece backwards etc.) But, moms will like the smooth high quality finish. Arrived in almost perfect condition. One of the pieces that forms the childproof prison was slightly damaged..like something heavy made an impression in the wood. My wife was nesting and in a hurry so there was no way she was waiting for a replacement piece. There was one foot that upon screwing the screw into it to attach it to the back leg - immediately felt loose. Yes the instructions want you to always use manual screw drivers. Ha! I know how to use an electric driver gently. I'd go crazy manually screwing screws in this piece. But you should exercise caution to prevent over tightening screws (you only get one chance - once over tightened it'll be loose forever).

It’s easy to assemble and the option to adjust the mattress is really good. Easy to readjust the height. Baby also likes to be in.

Stunning crib. It arrived in 2 days, nothing wrong with the packaging, the fed ex guy was great and actually helped pushed the box inside my house (not allowed to go in houses) since I'm 8.5 mths pregnant. From there, I opened it and looked at all the pieces to inspect for damages since the reviews on here state that many come damaged. Well, nothing was damaged, nothing was dinged, everything looked perfect. I brought the pieces 1 by 1 to the nursery, and started reading the directions. I found them to be quite easy. All the holes and screws aligned perfectly. The crib is very sturdy and elegant but not over the top. I'm 4'11" and I could reach the mattress easily when it's on the highest setting. This DOES comes with the toddler rail and hardware as stated.

I debated purchasing this crib vs a more expensive one, but have been very pleased with this one. It arrived within 10 days and was not damaged. My husband and father-in-law were able to put this together in about an hour. It is a solid crib and looks great (bright white color as described), especially when compared to the more expensive cribs I saw in Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby. The quality is better and the crib is sturdier than those AND costs $100-$300 less. I had a c-section and have been able to put the baby in and lift her out without any problems when the matress is on the highest setting. My 2 month old has been sleeping in it periodically since she was born and enjoys it. I bought the Sealy Soybean Foam-Core Crib Mattress which is a perfect fit and bought the South Shore Furniture, Peak-a-Boo Collection, Changing Table with Drawers--everything looks great together. I haven't had any paint chipping or nicks on the crib as yet and I took my fingernail and tried to dent the crib without success. But when my baby starts teething, I will investigate a teething rail. Also, I do see a potential problem with my baby's hands or legs getting stuck between the slats (even though they are the legal distance apart), so I will get a breathable bumper in the near future. For the price it is a great buy, but those two foreseeable issues is what causes me to give it only 4 stars.

I can’t say enough good about this crib. When people tell me they spend $500, $1000+ on a crib I can’t understand why when there are quality cribs, like this, at this price.I’ve had it for over a year and my toddler is rough on it.. still looks like it did the day I bought it. I think it’s so pretty, clean, sturdy… I couldn’t ask for more! If you’re looking for a qualify affordable crib, I highly recommend this one.

Assembly process was straight forward with no issues with any of the pieces. Crib looks beautiful and seems sturdy, through it will be a little bit before the baby puts it to a test. I happened to be standing inside it (very carefully) to reach my curtains and it didn’t show sign of flimsiness.The inside of the mattress measures approx, 50â€. For confused parents worried about fitting in a mattress without large gaps, FYI, we ordered the Serta Perfect Start mattress and it was a perfect fit (despite its online measurements showing 53â€).
