About this item

  • High impact polyurethane
  • Increased strength compared to stock rubber bump stops
  • Less deflection under load
  • Prevents damage to shocks and springs

Bump Stops are a critical part of your vehicle's suspension - they prevent damaging over-compression and eliminate harsh bottoming of the suspension. Daystar's Bump Stops are designed and tested under the most rigorous conditions imaginable to deliver positive stopping power without deflecting. Daystar bumpstops are available in a variety of application-specific and universal applications - from low-profile to bullet-shaped to pyramid inchcompetition-style, inch Daystar Bump Stops are used and abused worldwide. Daystar EVS Foam Bump Stops are the next generation in bump stop technology. Daystar EVS Foam stops use a proprietary Microcellular Foam material that provides a true progressive spring rate. Rather than being strictly a limiter, EVS Foam is designed to be an active part of the suspension with a rate that increases as the material compresses. Great for everything from racing to recreational use, the only limitation to Daystar EVS Foam is your imagination.

Great product and easy to install on my Jeep Wrangler. I thought this was going to be a difficult replacement but it turned out to be very easy. The hardest part was figuring out how to remove the old worn out factory bump stops. This is simple, Just get a screw driver and pry out the old stop. The bolt is on the inside housing and you unscrew through the bottom. There is no nut on the top! Once you clean all the dirt and rock out of the upper cylinder you can use a mirror to look down into it. Once you pull the old assembly off these will slide right between the springs with little effort. They are pre lubed so they are very slick. I only jacked up the front end and the coil springs stretched plenty with the weight of the tire to easily slide them between. One thing to note is if you don't have a lift you will need to cut these off to fit properly. I did it easily with a hacksaw after measuring what I needed. You need to do this before you slide the whole thing in or you will have to pull it back out. You can try and press these into the old crimped housing that came from the factory. Good luck with that! I mounted them without that part. They look great and are made very durable so I doubt they will need to be replaced anytime soon. When installing these, they will screw in from the bottom into the bottom of the cylinder. I would advise putting the nut that comes with it on. Just use some paper in your socket to hold the nut from falling out and it works great.

A set of stable loads were about $250, so we're trying these out, They are for a 2023 Ford F350 dually. We are putting a truck camper in the bed and have needed to remove the stock bumper stops in the past. So we figured we try these out, so far so good. They're about a quarter of an inch away from the leaf spring so they're not hitting all the time and getting that terrible ride.

Worked great on my 2000 tj with 2” lift and 32” tires.Just use a 17mm socket and extension to remove the old cup and spacer in the rear and thread in the new bumpstop. I used a pair of big channel lock plier to tighten them. You will have to remove the lower shock bolt and jack up on the frame to get the coil to spread enough to do the job but all in all pretty easy install. The front bolt is not 17mm it is a little smaller. I found them perfect length for my setup, no cutting down.

These bump stops worked great, I was installing a 4" lift kit on my jeep and the old bump stops rotted off some time ago, these just screw right on and can be cut off to the correct length needed. They were less costly then OEM ones listed and will out last the oem pop in ones

Although these were specifically for a Jeep they are a perfect fit for an 07 F250 Superduty with a 3” rear lift.

I have a jeep and the spare tire squeaks when I’m driving. Got these to help stabilize the tire and stop the squeaking.

Mounted fine on front, bolt was not long enough to mount on rear with 2” spacer installed. Easy to cut front to length desired

I was looking for something to replace my punched out and crumbling stock bump stops on my lifted XJ. I have a 90 which has the little thread-in cups with the bump stop pre installed (unlike the newer XJs that have the welded-on cups). The threads were a perfect match. I put a bit of anti-seize on them and screwed them right in. With a 6" lift, I have these bump stops and two hockey pucks down below which lets me bury 31s on 15x10s with no trimming. Under full bump the hockey pucks seemed to have more give than the daystars, so don't expect a pillow-soft stop when bottoming out. But, they will make sure you don't take out a fender or rupture a shock!
