Bought this to fix the nasty hot start grinding with my starter. 2007 Harley Road King with the 96" motor and 6 speed transmission. Starts up great every time now no matter if the bike is hot or cold. One word of advice if you are doing this yourself, when you remove the old one from your starter be careful because there is a steel ball inside the shaft of the old one, it's easy for it to fall out when removing the old starter clutch assembly, you will need this and put it in the new one, otherwise you will have problems down the road. And, don't forget to grease the new one, the big gear that sits inside the starter, i used high temp wheel bearing grease on mine. Shipped fast, works great but only time will tell on durability. Replacing this is way easier and cheaper than replacing the clutch flywheel so if you have the grinding while starting your bike, whether it's hot or cold, get this, fix your starter, save a ton of money and thank me later. Stay safe and always remember, shiny side up.

I needed a starter drive that is built for function and durability. It was complete and easy to install. I have used this brand and their products for several repairs. I find them to be tough and long lasting.

Absolutely junk. Made a horrible noise when trying to start my bike. Sounded like it was coming apart. Switched it out for an all balls starter clutch. Starts smoothly and better than new. Don't waste your time with this.

It work great! Easy to replaced in your Harley starter. Save me 150.00 doing this.. I'm happy now and my bike starts with no grinding like the oem one.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. Easy to install. Uses sealed bearing design unlike Harley open ball bearings. The hot soak grind is gone. It is a bit noisy right now but it should wear in. I recommend.
