They appear to be a good heavier hook and are labeled grade 70. My small complaint would be they are not exactly as pictured and came as zinc (silver) instead of the common yellow zinc which sticks out for transport chains. I don't believe I will have an issue with them and for the price and higher rating of 6,600 lbs (true grade 70) I will order more in the future.

these 3/8 chain hooks are the real deal. I use them on logging chain for pulling out logs with a bulldozer on some steep areas. They hold the load and haven't broken one since. Will easily hold for tons of dead weight.
