It only supports dBA and not dBC, which means it's more suited for concerns about hearing damage than about volume perception. That may fit what you need, but most SPL meters do both.I was hoping to be able to use the Bluetooth connectivity to connect to my PC for long-term logging. However, the only software that is supplied is for Android or iOS and there is no documentation for how to access the data from other devices. I did do some Bluetooth logging on my phone with their app, and found that the communication protocol is not obvious at all. I was hoping that it would just present the data as a serial-esque stream, but it's using Bluetooth LE, which doesn't provide a standard serial profile. It's probably possible to decode their protocol, but it would be nice if it was just documented. I wasn't really thrilled to have to install their app at all, to be honest.It does support logging directly to some sort of internal storage, but it still takes the app to set that up and then collect the data.I'll include a scan of the manual.
