The rails look great. They are really modern and fairly easy to install. Had to buy some 3rd party hardware to help. The trim pieces are a nightmare. The Allen key holes are painted over so it was difficult to work with them... wear gloves or expect raw fingers. Tightening them also angles the connectors so it is hard to get them flush. Room for improvement if the company really cares to make a good product great.

We used these balusters for a pony/banister wall. It comes with the square and straight steel rods of good quality. The baluster shoes do come slanted and straight best for use on stairs. We purchased extra straight edge shoes from Menards.

No instructions, but came with all the hardware (I assume, there was no swearing or running to the hardware store, so…).These are really nice looking and feel like they’re quality. I can only hope that they stand the test of time.I would recommend, but would suggest maybe watching some videos, or ideally, the company will start to include them.

Overall Vilstomes deck balusters are a high-quality product. They are a great choice when looking for stylish appearance. Cannot addresse durability but again the product seems well made, a season exposed to the elements will confirm, but confident it will hold up.

These didn’t come with any instructions, but luckily they were for my boyfriend and his father who have experience with construction and remodeling. They had already planned to redo the stairs and railing in their family home and they asked me to help by finding the necessary materials for the task. I chose these because they had the look that we were going for and because they seemed to come with all of the needed parts for this job.They were very happy with these as well as with the outcome. They not only look great but they are also a sturdy and reliable replacement for the old railing. The wrought iron is a nice addition that gives it a modern look. Overall everyone is very happy with the outcome of this DIY railing replacement project, and I think that the price on these made it a great deal. I would purchase these again, and I also highly recommend them. Just keep in mind that there might not be instructions, in case you’re new to DIY projects of this type. However, if you’re like me, you can always look online to find how-to videos and other guidance to help with the installation process. That’s how I knew I was getting the right parts for the guys to install. Thank goodness for YouTube, and for quality brands like this one for delivering just what we needed to get the job done!
