Replaced a similar pool cover pump that wore our after 10 years. It works and is a good deal to keep you pool cover mostly dry. Use after every rain. Turn on the pump and drain into skimmer to filter the water, saves on adding water to cover evaporation!

Drained it pretty well, doesn’t catch the last bit so had to dump it but did its job and for a great price

Have working with pool pump timer for off season. 15 minute twice a day. drains well. modification. 90 degree 1/2 inch pipe thread to 5/8 inch barb. use 5/8 dip line hose with a 90 at edge of pool usind drip line push on. use a heat gun or blow dryer to straighten 5/8 line. output is great.will update if pump fails.

I was looking for an inexpensive pump that came with a long cord and a long drain hose that shut off automatically and didn't get clogged up by leaves to drain the water from my above ground pool cover. This unit fits all of my requirements perfectly! It's not a high volume pump, but just give it time and it will get the job done. A lot of bang for the buck!

it is not the highest out put pump but it does the job on the pool cover , the best thing I like is that I have twice now left is pump on when pumping water off the pool cover and I completely forgot about the pump running for over 20 hours each time the water was gone and I was dry pumping and this little beast is still running strong and has not burned up yet..

I’m quite disappointed. It’s noticeably louder than advertised, making it a nuisance during quiet evenings. Additionally, it struggled to maintain consistent water flow, leading to murky water issues in my pool. The installation was also more complicated than the instructions suggested. Overall, I expected better performance for the price.
