I bought two Veagaso dehumidifiers as replacements for larger, nosier units in my beach condos. Humidity is very high at the beach causing alarming mold and mildew problems in HVAC ducts in condos. I installed dehumidifiers and ozonizers in my beach condos five years ago and have no problems with mold and mildew since that time. The dehumidifiers are installed on shelves high in the bathroom of 540 sq ft condos. The old dehumidifiers are noisy and probably too large. One of them died after about two years. I am replacing them with these smaller Veagaso units. It’s smaller, more quiet and so far quite efficient in extracting moisture from air that is only 50% humidity. The proof will be in how it handles warm wet air in the summer. I have installed automatic pumps to drain water from the reservoirs to the sink drain pipes. In general, I found that slow gravity drainage to be problematic with blockage and mold growth inside tubing. I have tried different dehumidifiers including the GoVee WiFi remote controlled dehumidifier. The remote function works very well. But the GoVee dehumidifier runs very warm, heating up the small bathroom. I have high hopes for these Veagaso dehumidifiers. I liked the design that it intakes air from the front and discharges air from the side. This makes cleaning easier and air flow more efficient. I am impressed with the lower cost, lighter weight and the 3 year warranty. I will follow up later after the next peak summer season. Thank you.

First, the good observed after a few days use in a large attic, using the included drainage hose in a fixed location. This is a quiet, effective dehumidifier. It is compact, lightweight with accurate controls and easily moved with the wheels. The downside is its rating of up to 34 pints moisture removal daily. The actual amount removed is not even a fraction of that, I would guess the actual amount removed is perhaps a pint or less, and that’s in the high humidity of the Deep South. You have to wonder how these ratings are derived. And they are important because that’s how potential buyers evaluate the unit when considering purchase. The discharge hose is also quite flimsy and has to be propped its entire length to prevent sagging. Finding a more sturdy hose replacement also is not easy. The hose is just one more example of the tendency of manufacturers to cut corners to save a few pennies with the end result being an almost unusable product. Generally, I would rate this unit as better suited to a smaller room or areas where mobility is important, or areas where emptying the included reservoir is practical (not in my case). In my case, a larger capacity unit might have been more advised if the capacity had been more accurately stated. Overall I’d give it around a 3.5 rating based on a few days use; I have no idea of it’s long term reliability. A more accurate capacity rating and a little sturdier discharge hose and this is a five star unit.

I used it to clear the bathroom after shower and it was amazing my mirrors fid not fog up and it captures a great amount of water/moisture. Very easy to move around and its simple to use. u can also use it to dry clothes which is a plus. I live that I can set it to a humidity level and when it beeps I just dump and good to go. it's the quietest I've had but still works great!
