Manual Measurement and Cutting
All of our carpet pads at our warehouse are manually measured and cut. For this reason, the actual size is slightly different, but it will not affect your use. We recommend that the area around the carpet pad is smaller than your carpet so it can hide it.

This pad is almost too nice. It’s certainly thicker than the rug it’s under. It was slightly larger than the size I ordered and cutting it down to size was a bit time consuming (I mention that as I feel it points to the quality of the material).This pad should last for many many years.It’s been on the floor for about a year and I am now noticing that the rug has moved about an inch, exposing the pad along one side. Idk if the rug moved or if the pad moved?

I’m at that point in our life where I have to help my wife dress. I’m on my knees, which are worn out. So, I needed thick padding. This padding stays in place and holds the carpet/rug in place. Now, I can comfortably assist her. It also appears to be fray resistant. It’s just the right hight so we don’t have a trip hazard.

I loved the quality of this item and it certainly stayed in place on the floor but it failed in two areas. 1. It was quite a bit larger than 5x7. Although it says you can trim to fit it’s pretty thick to cut. 2. My rug kept slipping in the top of the pad.

Pretty happy with his carpet pad, just be aware that it says thick-- and it is thick! It was fit enough that I had to cut it down a bit or the edge of the carpet pad would show under the carpet. And given it was thick, it was not easy to cut. That said, I am happy with my purchase.

UPDATE: this does not work at all for any rugs that i have. I gave it a chance for a few days and tried it under 2 different rugs. It doesnt hold the rug down AT ALL, it actually slides around and bunches up way more than it did without it. I bought it so i could vacuum my rug without it getting sucked up into the vacuum and its again made it worse. Just walking on it throughout the day causes my rug to slide off of the mat about 1-2 feet and causes huge bunches in the rug. I included pictures that were taken not even 1 hour after i straightened it out again. I will be requesting a refund for the return of the item.It didnt work for my rug. It may work well on others, i dont know, but my rug doesnt stick to it at all. I have a 6'×9' washable rug that i couldnt vacuum over because it got sucked into the vacuum. I bought this mat so i could vacuum and so it would hold the rug in place throughout the day but neither of those happened.

This padding is great for under thin washable rugs! Love that both sides are the same! Also, easy to cut if you need to fit to an odd shaped rug!

Has a good amount of tack to it so it won’t slip around. We put in baby’s room to make the carpet softer. This is a more expensive option but we are happy with it! Anything thinner I would’ve been disappointed as this adds just a touch of softness.

I like the amount of padding it adds to under an area rug, and was surprisingly easy to cut despite the thickness of it. Just wish that the top had some grip to it as my area rug likes to slide around on top of it.

I bought a very big size to match my carpet. It’s very nice to add some softness under my carpet.It doesn’t slip on the floor but my carpet still moves around on it. I may need 2 sided tape on the carpet to resolve that
