I like this carb! Engine started easily and the carb needed only minor adjustment. Performs very well off idle, no hesitation. The cam I'm running in a fresh 383 small block is barely with in the specs in the carb instructions so I was a little worried about idle and off idle but it works very well on both.

I don t give to many things five stars but this is a close one. The only thing I didn't like was the fact they don't even give a kit to tune it. It cost a extra $70 bucks. So be prepared to dish out some more money. I installed this on my Dodge 440 and figured I could just use the same bolt that was on my holly for the transmission. But of coarse it didn't fit and had to modify to work. If you have a Dodge just buy the transmission bolt that goes with this carb. As far a tuning this was the easies carb I have every worked on and I am still fine tuning. I gain a lot of throttle response compared to my old 750 double pumper. Have not seen a increase in gas mileage but when you have a 440. If you want better gas mileage buy a 4 cylinder. LOL

I like the simplicity of the carb, I put this on a 454 and the problems I have is that I've adjusted the choke several times and can't get it to work and after the vehicle is warmed it doesn't always start very easy sometimes you have to hold the peddle to the floor.
