OK, so I asked whether it came with a bulb socket. One answer said yes, another said no, so I ordered a genuine Benz one just in case. Sure enough, it came with one, along with the bulb. But it would not tighten up and lock into place, so I tried the Benz one. Problem solved. Thankfully, the problem was the socket and not the assembly. Using the assembly with the Benz socket worked fine. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 was because of the socket, which cost me an extra $30 bucks. Another review had mentioned that the socket did not fit correctly, and they were right. My need for replacing the assembly was due to the socket coming out and resting against the assembly When the bulb got hot, it literally melted the receiving place on the assembly, as well as part of the socket. The one I replaced was also a Depo unit, as a suicidal deer took out the factory one.

This turn signal assembly fits perfect and does not look like a cheap replacement piece. It looks like it is good quality and it works amazing. I am very happy with my purchase.

Tight fit. I lost the first one because it was so tight I didn't have it locked in with the tab. I didn't know that it would snap when the proper position.

The product was the correct item, however the fit was somewhat tighter than expected amd needed an adjustment make it fit. Overall satisfied with item....

It seems people are having one of two experiences with this company DEPO. Either it arrives perfect and fits or doesn't. Unfortunately the lens I received fell into the "doesn't" category! This was for a 1995 Mercedes S320. The original was by Bosch and the entire lens cover popped off out of the blue requiring I replace it. This is an item that actually required no tools and the original was very easy and took about 30 seconds to get out. The new DEPO brand was a different story. First I popped out the bulb to make sure the elements weren't broken, then spent 20 minutes trying to get the bulb holder back in appropriately tight, eventually I gave up and used the original bulb socket from the Bosch lens which worked just fine the first time!Next the DEPO lens would not slide in all the way or snap in. The lens cover wasn't aligned properly when it was glued together so the lens cover was hitting the headlight lens which kept it from sliding back into place. An hour and half later and sanding off 3/16" on my belt sander or filing, plus filing down excess molding seams which was preventing the retaining snap from clicking into place I got a fair fit. Normally I'd just send the piece of junk back but it was leaving the electrical system open to the elements. The fit is still off by at least 1/8" and my eye picks it up immediately. So I've decided this is just a temp until I can pick up an OEM Bosch at a salvage yard in the future.So you can take your chances with DEPO Brand which is out of Taiwan, but you've been warned.

The seal is not good, rough work,far from genuine indeed. and the price is not cheap. i would never buy next time.
