This worked so slick. It was easy to use and made nice cuts. This cutter made laying the laminate floor go quickly - we could make the cuts right there in the room without a mess and very efficiently. I would not want to lay a laminate floor without this cutter.

This thing really saved a lot of hassle and time. Keeps the mess down to minimum due to no saw dust.My only complaint is the blade and handle hold down allows the handle to kind of stick up high. it would be nice if it held the handle all the way in the down position for storage.I used it on 12mm laminate and it cut right through with no issues its not a perfectly clean cut when making a cut with a lot of the material behind the blade but if you leave say 1/16 -1/8'' to trim off after lopping off your main piece it cuts pretty nicely. this is due to the angle on the back of the blade. Even then it only matters if you leave that edge visible. Watch your fingers it is wicked sharp.

I purchased this for a home flooring project, and it made cutting vinyl flooring so much easier than I expected. It sliced through my LVT flooring like butter. No need for power tools or loud saws—it’s precise, clean, and quiet. The construction is solid and heavy-duty. It’s a bit bulky, so make sure you have space to store it when not in use. The ergonomic handle provides great leverage, so even tougher cuts require minimal effort especially for a woman using it (I am not that strong). It doesn't produce sawdust so clean up is easy. While it excels at straight cuts, it’s not designed for intricate or angled cuts, so you may still need a saw for those. Highly recommended for DIYers.

At first, I regretted buying this, because I saw so many of the pros scoring the flooring with a knife and snapping it with ease. But my flooring is thicker than what I think the guys in the video are using. I have it mounted on top of the kitchen cabinets, and I wrap my arm (think armpit) around it, while holding the piece in place, and use my body weight to pull the lever down. Works really well.

We're reflooring our entire house. This as been indespensible. Can you cut LVP with a razor knife? Sure. But this gives a clean straignt cut in about 3 seconds.Bonus points for the non-marring feet.
