I got this tubing to use with my aquarium protein skimmer drain. The diameter is perfect, hose is soft and pliable but not too soft or pliable, and fairly easy to slip over my barbed fittings. Running it under hot water softens it a bit to make it easier, but it's rigid enough that it doesn't just fold and kink while pushing it onto the barb. It's exactly what I needed! Perfect.

I was very happy with this tubing, used for moving a homemade beverage from fermentation bottle to secondary fermentation bottle, thus far. It was perfect in every way and seems to be high quality. I would have no problem using this tubing for any food grade or potable water scenario as long as you get the right inner diameter for your needs. I would definitely look at this brand next time I am in need and compare it to others I like. I would suggest it happily.
