As a graduate of LSU, I confirm that this is an excellent necktie and the real deal. It completes a classy outfit to watch baseball in the spring and summer at Alex Box Stadium. In the fall, it would also work well for LSU football in Tiger Stadium. Or church on Sunday!I highly recommend this necktie for guys going on a date at either of these venues. And if you happen to spill any mustard...well it blends well with the yellow. And during Mardi Gras, you wouldn't have to worry about spilling wine...because it would blend with the purple. Vibrant colors, good stitching, good length.

At 100% Polyester and bordering on novelty, it won't be winning any fashion awards. But that's not really the point. It's a nice way to say "Geaux Tigahs" whenever a tie is in order, or if I just want to dress a little sharper for game day. Sharp vibrant colors with a clear but subtle "LSU" in the official licensed Geaux Font.I've had several Desert Cactus LSU items and they've all proven to be affordable long lasting ways to show the Purple and Gold.Also, would make for great gift presentation with the way it comes packaged in a windowed Desert Cactus box.

No major complaints on this tie. It looks good, colors are great, feels nice. It's polyester, but doesn't feel cheap, though it doesn't feel like a high quality tie either. But of course it's also not coming at a price point comparable to the high quality ties you find in department stores. For this price, Desert Cactus makes a great tie for fans. I've truly been impressed with all of the products from DC that I've gotten.

Though their mother and I went to a different school, my stepsons both root for LSU. Forcing a tie upon the eldest can be difficult but he has had to wear them on several occasions so I'm hoping this one will have a little more meaning to him and be easier to get him to wear. The tie itself is a very nice quality with vibrant colors displaying spirit for LSU. Even though I'm not a fan of the school myself, I still appreciate how good this tie looks.

This LSU tie is excellent quality and well made. The colors are accurate LSU purple and gold colors. Looks expensive. A great purchase and very giftable.
