This is a super tie to wear for work or other semi-formal occasions when you want to show your team spirit for the Army teams. The colors are robust and the Black Knights logo in the bottom is sharp looking. The tie is a your typical length and width so it's pretty standard. Sewing and construction is good with no loose threads and sloppiness. I can imagine wearing this tie quite a bit: to celebrate the Army teams (especially football! Go Army!) and the fact that it is easy to match with khaki pants and a white shirt or gray pants. Great accessory for many occasions.

The good people at Desert Cactus have made this tie in a "one size fits all" length. For this tie, the length is 59". That's a little short for most adult men, especially in polyester. I'm 5'8". You can see I got the tie to drop to my waist, but I didn't have enough tail to tuck into the tie loop....not even close.Part of the problem is with polyester as opposed to smoother, more flexible silk. The polyester ties are thicker as a rule and just not capable of being tied with as tight a knot as silk ties. That means more length dedicated to the knot and less material available to hang down. The length would be more usable at 62" and even better at 63". The width is fine.Of course, Desert Cactus makes clear that this is a polyester tie, so it was no surprise. This tie is ultimately going to get in the hands of my 5'9" nephew who is a freshman at West Point. It should fit him. I know neck ties technically fit everyone, but you'll look like a real goof if the tie is hanging three inches above your belt line.On the bright side, the tie seems reasonably well made and the colors are nice. The Black Knight logo is a bit small, but recognizable. I wish Desert Cactus would tell us the length of the tie in the marketing. "Standard size" just was not enough information.

In every sense of the word, this is not a 'cheap' tie. The quality and weight of the ties is much better than I expected. It 'ties' and wears well and the embroidered logo is clean and crisp. This length is a generously cut standard length. Overall, a quality tie that I expect to be wearing for many years to come. Highly recommended.

This is a nice tie and great to wear for reunions or special gatherings. I have a relative who is a West Point graduate and he loves this tie. The colors are perfect and the logo on the bottom is very clean and clear. It looks great while wearing it. It’s only a four star because the material is a little stiff, making it just a little more difficult to tie nicely.. Overall a perfect gift for an Academy graduate or Army supporter!

I really like this tie - the colors and West Point crest are beautifully woven and embroidered into the tie. This will be my tie of choice for reunions and formal suit and tie events - highly recommend!
