I use these to keep humidity out of our bulk flour, sugar, rice, and oats stored in 5-gallon buckets with gamma lids. I especially noticed a difference with the sugar which quit clumping up. Haven't had to replace them yet after a year and a half of use in Georgia.

Easy to use. Placed in 5 gallon buckets of rice and beans for storage. Hopefully will work well in the summer when it is very humid here.

The only thing that would make these more perfect is if they were individually wrapped so the unused ones could be saved a little easier. Otherwise they worked extremely well with no complications or odor. I use them in my dog’s food container to keep it from going stale and it has been very effective! They don’t seem to be taking damage either.

I purchased these to try and keep some dry foods safe for a longer amount of time sealed in buckets. They seem to be fine.

I use these in my 5-gallon food storage buckets and they have been great in keeping the moisture out and preventing molding and spoilage of my stored dry baking supplies, (flour, sugars, and other dry ingredients I store in bulk.) Also great for keeping dehydrated foods dry and mold, and spoilage-free for long-term storage. The best way to reactivate these is to put packets, single layers in your food dehydrator on low for a few hours. I put mine in for about 12 hours and they work just fine, no melting.
