Went to big box store and all they had was super thin walled two piece that was literally twice the price (an insult to your intelligence and wallet). So went home and researched and found this. Expected a similar product to arrive but when this was delivered found it was heavy steel powder coated and high quality just like the description. These days it's common to have disappointments with misleading advertising but not with this one. Nice job. Highly recommended.

I used one by my driveway and it’s very sturdy. The light fit on it well. The crossbar is a little flimsy but there won’t be any weight on it so it’s ok for now. They should have made the crossbar out of metal.

We like that it's all one piece in length instead of telescoped to reach it's height. It's 3" in diameter and slides onto an umbrella stand if you put a 2.75" piece of pvc pipe and a pvc joiner inside to stay above the welded umbrella stand screw to make them mobile and keep them straight. We are using solar lights at the top so don't need the conduit hole in the bottom. Very happy!!! We bought 2 and took the home depot ones we had just bought back because they were better and half the price.

The lightpost is of great quality, is nicely colored, and is sturdy.Now the crossbar is another story. The crossbar is cheap and made out of plastic. Not sure why the product company chose to use plastic but I ordered a metal replacement for it.Beautiful post, but just don’t like the crossbar. Easy and cheap to replace with a metal one and still pleased with the product!The packing of the item wasn’t great either but the post was fine and not damaged!4 out of 5 stars just because of the crossbar and poor packaging!
