Q: Can I replace other bulbs by myself?
A: Yes, you can. Our outdoor pole light contains an 8w E26 Base LED bulb, please note the wattage requirements of the bulb if you would like to replace other bulbs by yourself. This outdoor post lantern is compatible with Max.40W Incandescent Bulb, Max.20W CFL Bulb or Max.15W LED Bulb.
Q: Is the post light fixture with dusk to dawn sensor?
A: Yes, it has photocell sensor. By detecting the brightness of surroundings, light fixture will automatically turn on at night and Auto-off in the daytime.
Q: Can the post lantern be used in the house by the sea? Will the color fade? Will it corrode?

Had to replace a 36 year old metal lamp post light. This one worked just fine. Made of all heavy duty plastic so it didn't need a ground wire (that was in the old one) and it was lightweight. The old mounting base diameter is apparently a standard for these lights so the new metal base was unneeded. Made the install that much simpler. Based on the engineering of the lamp (parts are keyed/large rubber washer) it will definitely be water tight and hopefully bug tight. Also, the clear lens is a one piece construction and can easily be removed during installation if needed. However the lens must be installed before the bulb.Two issues did come up though. The wire in the lamp post itself was far more heavy duty than the braided wire that came in the new lamp. This made the wire nuts more difficult to secure the connections. With some extra effort it did work though. Second, the top piece had square nut holes in the underside of the lid where you use decorative screws on top to secure the lid to the bottom half. There are only two screws to secure the lid. Unfortunately the square nuts were missing and there was only one spare in the plastic parts bag. Had to improvise with a nut I just happened to have on hand.So...my only suggestion to the manufacturer is to build in those square nuts during the molding process and put two spares in the parts bag.Otherwise, I highly recommend this lamp post light and would happily recommend it to any of my neighbors!

Everything was plastic, but the lantern functions perfectly fine. Mom is safe again with outdoor night lighting. There were no words, just drawings for instructions and there seemed to be one extra piece we couldn't figure out. It certainly serves the purpose for the price.

At first the lights was great, within the last couple of months I've noticed it flickers off then back on during the time it should be on steady. Anyone else have this issue and if so how do I fix it?

My husband put together our new light post. It really sheds a nice light without being too bright for the neighborhood. He didn’t have any problems installing it. Much classier than our old one!
