I bought it to cut my dogs hair. It works really well for what I do and being able to use the slip on end for the length of the hair cut. The only problem I have is the weight of the whole unit and most importantly life of the blade itself.

Overall a good sharp blade attachment for dog clippers. This is a replacement blade which I have been using for years. So I thought I would go ceramic since blades of this construction are sharper and last longer. But for some reason I noticed it wasn’t cutting last week and when I looked carefully at the two blades, the white one, which was the ceramic blade was broke in half and only part of it was moving and cutting. So it is three or four months now so instead a trying to get a refund or get it replaced, I just ordered a second one. If this one should break then I’ll make a lot of noise and demand my money back. I’ve only used this blade three times and the ceramic portion broke.

I’ve been grooming for 30 years and this is the best blade I’ve had, it cuts so smooth and makes my job so easy. I will order again !

I am sure these stay sharper longer but when grooming a dog and you never know what the dog will do. My dog jumped knocked the shears out of my hand and broke the ceramic blade. I didn’t realize this was all ceramic. I would’ve thought it was ceramic coated. Ceramic is like glass and it’s very breakable so I got to use these twice and this is very expensive for just using twice so I will stick with stainless steel from now on. Just wanted to warn you before you end up spending this kind of money and your blades getting broken too. Very disappointing. For using on humans it would be a great blade. I don’t restrain my dogs and most of the time this never happens matter of fact it’s never happened but it did! Not the manufacturers fault I guess I should have researched a little bit more! Or maybe a warning would have been nice. Like these are solid ceramic, and are easily broken.

Use on my Std Poodle, American Shepard, and Biewer Yorkie. On my Wahl KM10 and works great. Will have to see about longevity.
