Not bad honestly. It didn't come painted in shiny silver like the picture but it definitely looked like they put an effort into refurbishing this part. It was pretty easy to install too.

Nowhere in the listing did they indicate this was a "Rebuilt/Re-manufactured" Power Stearing rack and pinion unit! I was surprised to find a poorly Re-Manufactured unit inside when I opened the box. Contacted seller and made arrangements for return, and the return went ok. I believe the seller should be clear on listing and state it's a rebuilt used unit. Rebuilt Used Unit of Poor Quality.

One of the boots was put too far on the unit causing it to stretch and bind when turned to the right. I bought this rack with the everything installed so I wouldn't have to mess with the pinch clamps and boots. Now I have to get a new clamp. Oh well, have to go to the dealer anyway since Detroit Axle only gave me one stop nut. The LH outer tie rod was shipped loose and didn't have the hardware. Maybe train your techs or hire ones that care.
