Cutting to the chase… I highly recommend the clay tool set! This is a review for a multi-piece Clay tools set, not the repair set the listing has been changed to.Great assortment of useful clay crafting tools. Really nice to have a zippered pouch to keep them all together and store them in. The large assortment of included ball dimple tools are a nice extra you don’t usually find in starter kits.Pros.+ Large assortment of Good quality clay tools.+ Extremely handy zippered storage pouch.+ Many more tools than most inexpensive sets.Cons.- None so far.PLEASE NOTE, My reviews reflect my personal opinion of the “customer experience†using the product based on the actual performance delivered vs what the product’s listed description, photos, and specifications promise.1 Star - Very poor customer experience - Failed to meet major parts of it’s description.2 Stars – Poor experience - Mostly as described but is ‘second-rate’, and/or a very poor value.3 Stars – Average experience - reasonably meets the expectation promised in it’s description.4 Stars - Good experience - Meets all described expectation, and a reasonable value for money.5 Stars – Absolutely EXCELLENT experience! - FAR OUTPERFORMED all expectations! This is a review for a multi-piece Clay tool set, not the vase repair set the listing has been changed to.

If you have a challenging repair with small pieces, look elsewhere. The instructions are poorly translated, frustratingly vague, and contradict themselves. There is only one epoxy cartridge and it is too fast setting to be practical for intricate projects. After five or so pieces, the cap welded itself in place, rending the kit useless.

Being the first time user of clay sculpting I think this is a nice starter set. I use for bake clay that sets in the oven. The carry bag is well made similar to a makeup bag. Zipper works well and it has a nice pattern to it. The wooden tools feel so light I feel like I’ll break them. They have held up so far. The clay sticks to these so if you don’t want color transfer be sure to clean well between clay. I broke one of the wire tools, it came out the end. I was able to put it back but I don’t know how long I can keep doing that before needing replaced. There are four plastic handled tools, I just don’t like the feel of them in my hand. The wooden handled rubber sponged tip set of have multiple shaped tips. I have used every one of these repeatedly. I love the heavy metal ball ends. I love shaping and smoothing with these. There is a sponge as well. For a beginner in clay they are doing the job for me. I can see if I keep this hobby, I will want to upgrade a few pieces. At the current price I think they are a good deal.

Wow, what a set! A wide array of tools, well-made, average student quality, good for most clay uses. I'm using these for polymer clay, so some might be a little on the overkill side, but that just means I will have a good selection of tools for sometime. Most are metal or wood, or some combo of both. A small handful are plastic, but it's sturdy plastic, exactly what most polymer clay tools are. The metal and wood pieces could easily do double-duty with heavier ceramics clay, if you are experimenting. The bag will hold all the tools no problem, and it seems largely water resistant, not water proof, but resistant enough that if you have slip-covered tools in them, the water of the slip won't leak through, or if you get water or slip on the bag, it won't soak the inside, and should bead off the outside for easier clean-up.A good selection for whatever soft clay endeavor you are embarking upon.

These are sturdy and durable, and more importantly comfortable to hold and use. Bonus - they have a case included to keep the whole kit together. These take working with clay to the next level.

I especially like the silicone (not "rubber" as described) tipped tools. The metal balls are nice enough. I like that there's a texture on the bottom of one of the plastic tools. Though the seams on those tools make them not so useful. The bag is handy.Overall, there are some nicer tools in this, and some that you might not want to use. But it's not a bad option.. . .Key to ratings:***** - well above average - best I’ve seen**** - above average - very good quality*** - average - not bad, not great** - below average - I probably wish I'd gotten something different* - a waste of resources - I wish this had never been made
