I really like these and will probably look for more! I run summer programs for toddlers and I’m always looking for clothing that will be cool and comfortable enough to be on the ground with the kids but still not look sloppy. These shorts will do the job and will stand up to juice and water spills and other assorted kid messes. These shorts fit well (as expected based on sizing) and are assembled well, with no sloppy seams or loose threads. I haven’t worn them yet (winter here) but I have washed them and they washed beautifully. Love the pockets for keeping my phone and tissues, etc, handy. Will almost certainly buy more before summer gets here!

These knee length shorts or Capris as my daughter calls them are comfortable fitting with a drawstring waist closure and several convenient pockets. She noted that she likes the side pocket on her right leg to drop her phone into since it is easy to access there and doesn't get pinched up when she is sitting. They are very soft and stretchy which will be good for hiking which she missed last fall as they were settling into a new home. The fabric weave is quite open so it is very breathable and should it get dampened will dry out quickly. I think that she will frequently use these just working around the house, especially when the days are warm because they are so comfortable. She did make a comment which I normally hear when she likes something. "I wish that I had two of these to trade off". I guess that can be taken as a positive sign.

These are really nice capri pants, but it is so hard to accurately determine sizes when you shop clothing online. Sometimes I'm a medium, sometimes I'm a large and I've even been in xl in certain things. With that said I've been having some success with large these days, and I followed the size chart. I chose large and wish I had gone down to medium. They're very baggy in the crotch and rear end area. The waist is adjustable, so not a problem there. They feel so cozy and soft. They're made of a lightweight fabric that would function well outside during a hike for example. They dry very quickly. I do not think this fabric will shrink in the wash so they will forever be baggy on me unless I gain some weight. For reference I'm 5.11 and 150 lb. If you do get the right size these are awesome pants! If you are in between sizes like me I recommend going down a size.

- I am 5'7 and 165 and got an 2XL because I like my clothes to be baggy. I could have easily gotten a XL and the fit would have still been loose and comfortable.- The material is super lightweight, the kind where it almost feels like you aren't really wearing anything. But when you feel the shorts they are soft and have lots of flow to them.- The band is both elastic and has a drawstring. The elastic band is thick but didn't cut into me. The pants just slide right on.- Since I went up in size the shorts fit more like capris hitting mid-calf instead of knee length. I'm not sure even getting my right size these would hit me at the knee. I think they run a bit longer. I was pleased with it though.- There are 2 decent size pockets that held my phone just fine and one zipper pocket lower on the side that also was able to hold my phone. The shorts were never pulled down from the extra weight.- The only thing that is the slightest issue is they pick up static and can cling to themselves. It wasn't much but I could sometimes feel the legs starting to stick and would need to pull them apart.

Amazingly soft fabric. Zippered pocket to ensure what goes inside the pocket STAYS inside the pocket.I absolutely love how these feel against my skin - cool and comfortable.I do think they are a bit “off†on sizing though. I am 5’2â€and weigh 143 lbs. Typically a size large is perfectly comfortable for me. And while these capri length shorts are indeed incredibly comfortable, they are also a wee bit more snug than I expected them to feel.A great look for a comfortable day hike.

Why not 5 stars? These hiking long-shorts are smooth, lightweight, feel nice, quick dry, sized right, and have adequate pockets. But.... You know how sometimes one little thing ruins the whole design? Yeah. The zipper on the zip thigh pocket has a square design pull that won't lay down. It sticks out at a right angle to the leg. No amount of fiddling with it can get it to lay flat. So at best these get a 3 star, and maybe it should be 2.I suspect I will try cutting the stupid zipper pull off with pliers and replace it with the included loop-pull... But I really shouldn't have to do that.

I ordered an XXL and I LOVE how these fit and feel! They are so lightweight and SOFT!!! They are perfect for traveling in warmer climates. These will keep me cool and will be comfortable - plus they don't take up much space in my luggage! I am bigger in the hips & thighs, so I was a bit worried about the fit, but fits according to size. These are made well and are a great find!!
