The heavy duty DEWALT DW756 6-inch bench grinder is ideal for all grinding operations, including sharpening tools, deburring, rust removal, shaping parts and cleaning objects. It's powered by a 5/8 horsepower induction motor that runs at 3,450 RPM for easy and reliable high speed material removal.

The DW756 is complemented by an industrial cast iron base and motor housing for added durability and prolonged life. It has a 12-1/2-inch distance between wheels for longer and larger grinding applications, and precision-machined adjustable aluminum tool rests allow the user to accurately position work. Rear exhaust ports in the wheel guards provide smooth operation. This grinder measures 15 inches long and weighs 28-1/2 pounds.

This DEWALT tool is backed by three-year limited warranty covering any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship (from the date of purchase). It's also covered by DEWALT's one-year free service contract, where DEWALT will maintain the tool and replace worn parts caused by normal use--for free.

The grinder has no vibration and has power to do any grinder job. It is a little higher price than the off brand models but is well worth the higher price for the quality built grinder.

So far, this has been working out great. It takes a little time to set up, but then just works...Starts up reasonably quickly, isn't too loud, is easy to reach the power button, and has enough power for simple grinding that I've been doing.The spark arrester doesn't really work, as the sparks travel all the way around and shoot right back down onto your hand, but I don't know if other grinders have solved this when grinding steel, either.

We are an automotive shop and this grinder sees daily use 5 days a week. We have had this for 4 years now, and it works as good as day one. Instant starts, good power, well balanced, and quiet! If it broke tomorrow, I would buy another one, but it will likely last many more years. Very satisfied with this product!

This is a great grinder. My son is very pleased with it. He was so happy when he opened the box for Christmas. The shipping was fast. The pricing was around average, but the quality of the product is worth the price. My son is very pleased with it, and every man should have one of these in their shop.

This is a 6 inch grinder that will handle any job a diy would have! The instructions were easy to follow to assemble it. My grinder has no vibration in it whatsoever. It is the quietest I’ve ever heard. After you shut it off, it spins for several minutes, proving that it must have some really good ball bearings. I give this grinder a A+ grade and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I had purchased the Wen 6†bench grinder, found that the motor was too weak as returned it. I spent a little more and bought this DeWalt. Wow. What an improvement!Having just had two units to compare days apart I can assure you that is a _much_ better value and much higher quality machine.As you can see from my pictures, it isn’t perfect. At the top of the wheel housing you attach the spark shield. On the left side I have a polishing wheel attached and have on the outer housing cover. When this is attached the bracket for the spark shield can’t sit flush against the housing.In the other photo I have a DeWalt wire wheel mounted. Even though the 1/2†wheel technically fits, it was rubbing on the outer housing cover. I didn’t want to scrape off the paint and have a problem with rust down the road so I left the outer cover off. With the cover off you can see that the spark shield’s bracket mounts flush.But these are minor quibbles. The tool rests, stamping thickness, on/off switch quality are far better than the Wen. And the motor power is night and day (that is actually an _understatement_.)Highly recommended!!!

Works well. Didn’t move around too much on my bench - decided not to bolt down. Didn’t lose much speed while grinding and wire wheeling. Would recommend

I have almost exclusively DeWalt power tools which I love but this one I found was a bad buy . It came fitted with a European plug and rather than buy an expensive current/plug adaptor I changed the plug . Big mistake …it immediately burnt out internally . Luckily it was refunded but id have thought in the UK it should come ready to use in the UK , hey ho
