If you need pig rings, you need this tool. It literally may be the single best tool I have ever purchased. I know for sure it is the best tool for the money I ever bought. It is easy to use and extremely fast. I fastened the seams in chicken wire on a 32ft x 16ft blueberry patch in less than 30 minutes. Did I say awesome, double that, make it 2 awesomes.

I originally purchased this in hopes of having an easier way to attach windscreens to a chain link fence. Unfortunately the rings are a little too small for that application. However I did use them to make some filters for a cabinet unit heater and that made the job quick and easy. Loading additional rings can be kind of finicky, and once you get down to the last ring or two in the barrel it doesn't quite clamp down right. For those reasons I docked a star. Overall for the price and quantity of rings you get this is a great product, especially for the versatility of this tool. Just have to suck up your pride if your a Milwaukee guy like I am, if only they made an M12 version. 😂

This came in handy for applying chicken wire to my hens area. The only thing is you can’t go straight on but have to go at an angle to get them to attach. Once you get that down, they work great and makes the job a lot easier!

previously i ordered a cheaper set of these pliers but they used 20mm Rings which were almost impossible to find. So i ordered these Dewalt Hog Ring Pliers that use a more easy to acquire C Ring. these pliers seem to be plenty sturdy and are working great so far for my needs.

I used this product to attach chicken wire to the inside of an existing fence so that younger chickens aren't able to walk through the fence. We had over 400 feet of fencing to cover, so I needed a quick and simple way to attach wire to wire and this was the perfect tool. Came quickly and worked well.

I purchased these based on the recommendations in a rabbit group, for building cages. They work wonderfully and spare my arthritic hands from days of soreness after building a cage! The only down side is that the hog rings do not cinch as tightly as J-clips, and a few I had to go back and tighten with a pair of pliers...not a big deal, though, as this is often the case with J-clips, too.I also used a lot of the rings building a couple of cages, because they are thinner and I wanted the cages to be especially strong for my big rabbits, but still costs only slightly more than using the J-clip method (*maybe* a dollar more per cage). All in all, well worth the money to spare my hands. Zipping through a cage quickly (because these auto-load the next ring, like a stapler) means that I can now build more than one cage a day, if I wanted!Before I might have spent 3 hours J-clipping a single 36x24x24 cage by hand, but now I can do it in 20 minutes with these guys. So, all of you cage-builders who are on the fence about what pliers to try next...look no further. These even come with enough rings to build your first two-three cages!

Works great. Really nice to auto load in cold weather. I used these for burlap when wrapping shrubs. Should have bought these years ago. Took my manual ringer along just in case, but these worked better than I had expected. May not be great for large gauge wire but for burlap they are king. The Dewalt rings are quite expensive but there are cheaper options that work in the Dewalt tool. I have no regrets buying this tool!
