Perfect smaller impact! It feels like it has as much power as my 20V Dewalt even! I recommend this for hobby fixers out there, less expensive and works just as well!

For around the house simple tasks my 20V tools are fine but I wanted to see what this 12V impact driver could do. It is smaller and lighter for sure, but the real bonus is the speed setting. It has a very light touch on the low setting and seems like plenty of power on the high setting. This will be a perfect tool for driving small wood screws and plenty strong enough for deck screws. I haven't tried it yet but with the proper impact bits I plan on using it in the garage for removing parts off the motorcycle for maintenance.

Wanted something lighter but still able to get the job done adequately. DeWalt does not disappoint again. I love this. Lighter and easier on my wrist as I am a DIYer of an older generation. I love their products. Nice balance, battery fits right onto a 20V charging base. I have not exhausted the battery yet.

works well, but you will go deaf without ear protection. it is loud and will disturb your neighbors if used late into the evenings in shared living spaces

I've been using the Dewalt 12v lithium impact guns for over 10 years. The battery life and power are excellent. What sets this series apart from the rest is that it has an adjustable torque setting. I bought this gun just to set wirenuts on the low and medium torque settings. I use an identical but more beat up gun for 99% of the time for setting screws, drill/ tapping screw holes and drilling small holes. Light weight, great torque, ergonomic, durable and good battery life.

I’ve used DeWalt tools ONLY pretty much all of my life and never thought twice. Until now.I purchased this 12v impact driver 6 months ago (10/22/2023) but unfortunately, the mechanism that holds the bit in place just broke on me today (4/11/2024).It broke within 6 months which is surprising being that it’s a DeWalt. I am beyond disappointed and really hoping DeWalt will make this right. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on their products over the years. People are telling me to switch to a different brand, which is a big deal because I will have to change all my batteries, chargers, etc. Has DeWalt changed without me noticing?I’m really hoping this drill has at the very least a 1 year warranty. Heck, I could even use a 6 month warranty. I will update this review after I speak with DeWalt. Fingers crossed 🤞

I am in the electrical trade and use this impact driver for connecting devices.This is a great tool for what I use it for - with Dewalt Quality!ProsIt has a lower torque than the 20V version so it doesn't strip the connection terminal but still has speed3 settings! The lower setting starts on driver mode and then actually pauses before going to impact. This is great for preventing a screw from being striped.ConsIt is heaver than the standard 12V version but not too heavy.

This little driver is extremely convenient when you need to keep a driver always close to you while you’re working. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and the batteries are really small too so it’s easier to save space. The driver works really well with reliability in efficiency and power. The led lights on it are super bright which has been really useful for me when I use it. This would even be perfect for people who just want it for home because it will be cheaper then the 20v max and will still work just as good.
