Worked perfectly on my field sprayer. Valve operation provides positive control of spray levels.

i bought these to use for my homemade solar heater for my above ground pool. I needed a nozzle to regulate the flow of the irrigation hose feeding into my pool and these fit great inside the half inch hose.

Good quality for the price. Using them on chemical weed sprayer operating at 80 PSI. No problems

great little valves for my Garden Hardscape. Great to adjust the flow to my watering can hardscape

It is fairly easy to turn and doesn’t leak which is a common problem with others I have bought. I use it in combination with a sump pump to water my plants with captured rainwater using 1/2†black flexible tubing connected with 1/2†silicone hose I already had. I use a 40†long piece of 1/2†flexible nylon tubing as a water wand that easily reaches through crowded plant vines and stems. And the flexible wand can be easily bent to reach plants that are close to you like up high on a bench without having to back up to allow the length of a typical water wand. The plastic petcock helps make my daily watering so much easier than dragging around the heavy garden hose and big clunky water wand with a head to big to fit through tight areas.

Would have provided 5 stars if I didn't have to buy two valves; I only needed one. It provides a secure fit with my 1/2" ID vinyl tubing. This is a quarter-turn valve soat a glance I can tell exactly how close to full open or full closed it is setting. The barbs are kind of long so you need space for a straight section of tubing, but that helps it provide a reliable connection. I love it!

The thing about this valve that may not be obvious from the description is that the internal diameter of the pet cock (yes, this is what this type of valve is actually called) is only about 1/4 inch diameter, plus a small thin bar across the flow path. This means that the maximum flow rate of the valve is restricted to less than half of the 1/2 inch tube feeding it. I bought it to install in the output line of the pump feeding our fountain, to restrict the flow and reduce the splashing from the small jet at the top. See if in the background of my photo. I’m not sure if this is any worse than another 1/2 valve of this type, but I didn’t have to turn down the flow after I installed it (very easy in the silicone tubing I have) to stop splashing, so that’s good….Otherwise it’s built well for low pressure. Don’t rely on it for line pressure. Pump output pressures are fine.
