This design is GREAT!!!! If you have PEX (plastic water lines) this is the way to go. Just push the plastic hose in and it stays with no leaks. I got the 4 pack (2 HOT & 2 COLD) valves to use in my camper at about the same price as 1 SharkBite valve. I've been having leaks under the kitchen sink during some spring startups. All I had to do was cut the hose, push the valve on and now I can shut the water off if I have any leaks at the sink connections without shutting off the water to the entire camper.
