About this product:
The winterize blowout adapter use a convenient anti-freezing method to winterize water lines of travelling vehicles such as RV/camper/boat/travel trailer, by blowing out water from the water lines/plumbing . It can reduce the use of antifreeze, very convenient.
The winterize blowout adapter use standard threading - 1/4" male air compressor quick plug to a male 3/4" garden hose inner thread, attach air line to water lines/hose system easily.
On one hand, suitable for most water system - RV boat camper travel trailer such vehicles which with water supply system. On the other hand, use to blow out/winterize any water system with an male garden hose thread, like garden hose, faucets, sprinkler systems and outdoor water lines.
Tips:
Red Plastic-covered lever handle for on/off manual control.
For vehicles winterizing - working pressure is about 25-30psi.
For garden hose winterizing - working pressure is about 45-55psi.
For long-time runs - stop and let the air compressor cool off every few minutes.

Nice unit, ships in a plastic storage box. I wrapped the threads in teflon tape, but perhaps that wasn't really needed. I dialed down the output of my compressor to a safe 35 psi and that was sufficient to blow out the water lines in my travel trailer.The one winter I didn't do this, of course we had a hard freeze and I had to have the hot water tank replaced, since the glass liner fractured. Now I blow out the water lines (and drain the hot water tank) at the end of every camping season well in advance of the first freeze.

This adapter is made of three small threaded brass pieces, but they were not sealed together when I received it. The assembly process of this adapter is minimal, once you locate some Teflon tape. Once your adapter is sealed with Teflon tape, it is then ready to remove the water from your RV's water lines with the aid of an air compressor. Be sure to set your air compressor's output to about 20psi to avoid damaging your RV's plumbing and possibly bursting a water line. The three parts of this adapter are all well-made. The valve included allows convenient control of the output of your air compressor.

There are lots of these on Amazon for sale. I bought this one because it came in a plastic case. I use this to winterize my RV. Works great. Tight seal. Smooth valve operation. Good value.

I decided to try this to save a little money and so far I haven't had any regrets. It's easier to use than the antifreeze. I do still pour a little antifreeze in the p-traps.

I dont have to hold a tire air chuck. Just screw it on to my 40 psi regulator, plug in my air hose and turn it on. Go inside and turn on each faucet and toilet until the water is blown out.
