Precautions
Precautions
- This diamond tester cannot differentiate between moissanite and diamond
- Don't detect metal
- Best to measure in no wind conditions
- The operating temperature is within the range of 10-35 degrees Celsius, and the humidity is below 80%
Operation Technique
- Both hands must be used
- Your right hand must keep touching the metal panel on the back of the tester.
- Your left hand must hold the diamond or place the diamond on the bracket with your left hand pressing against the bracket.
Install Battery
- Put the 9V battery in.(incloud)
- After use, turn off the power.
Table Initial Value
- Turn on the switch.
- Wait few seconds for the probe to heat up until Lamp on ready OK
Set Initial Value
- Turn on the lights numbers corresponding to the indoor temperature and diamond weight.
- If don't know. Set 4 lights is lighting up on the scale.
Vertical Contact
- Use probe to make 90-degree contact with the measured object.
- It needs little force to stop it on the diamond surface and make full contact

It really works!!! Charge battery first until green light ready to use. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully and check room temperature- away from windows. Be sure to clean gems with cloth (remove dirt or oil) before you test them. When you are not using a diamond tester, remove battery. Always charge battery first whenever you plan to use a diamond tester. I can test moissanite jewelry from Amazon to be sure they are real! Yay

This has been accurate on real diamonds. Not so accurate with other things it claims such as different gems/different ranges. Everything else from a glass bottle to cz to a real sapphire tests all the same. But you hear the beeps when it detects real diamond so it will detect diamond. Would I rely on it solely? No. You still need good observation skills & a good loop to double check. This is a good quick starting point though.

Bought this on a whim.Have I used it? Yes.Was it easy to use? Not really.Instructions are not very clear and there are too many variables to take in account. Maybe it's my lack of knowledge that made it harder to use. I mean I can point at the diamond and press the button, but setting it up according to the diamond size and other stuff is what makes it a pain.Do I use it often? Not at all, it was a one time use type of purchase. It's not like I am swiming in diamonds to test daily.

As a gear nerd. This is a good product. I don’t use the rechargeable 9v. You will have better results with just putting a high quality 9v in there. Didn’t see how controversial it would be but. Got zero problems, works great and reliable.

I am trusting that this diamond tester is accurate. The instructions were a little challenging, but once I understood it is easy to work with. I also appreciate that it is a rechargeable battery for the charger.

Tried it on materials i previously knew hardness on and it actually seemed quite accurate. Hard to say how it will perform in the long run

I’ve had this product for a couple weeks now. I am very impressed. It has been 100% accurate thus far. The quality of the material has been held up as well. All in all I would recommend for the price point. It’s exactly as described.

The tester is not accurate. It shows the same signals whether you are testing diamond. Ruby or sapphire crystal. Same when I tested the glass on my watch and the lenses on my iPhone. The loupe is cheaply made and only works on tiny objects that have to be right under the glass. I have to find about the rechargeable 9v battery with time after using it repeatedly
