These trays are perfect for rolling die. It keeps them confined so the die don't roll everywhere or off the table. I like that they come in different colours so everyone knows which die are theirs. The inside has a nice feel to it. They fold flat for easy storage.

This is a really well priced collection of dice catchers in attractive colors. The trays are well constructed despite the inexpensive materials used, but they don't look cheap. They are easily transportable. Unsnap and fit in your book bag between your notebooks. Snap in seconds and forget about the loud cracking of dice. Every roll is collected neatly and quietly in your tray. Catch your dice in multiple colors depending on which character you're playing. Leather brown for barbarian, maybe? Green for your ranger? Purple for your wizard? Blue for your Paladin? Post game, unsnap and return to your book bag. At home, you might even store them between books on a shelf. Doesn't matter what dice game you play, these are really nice for the price.

UPDATE: I contacted the seller and they immediately replaced the tray with the broken clasp. No fuss, no muss. I added a star for this.--------------------------------I received these today.The good: These are nice looking trays, and I think they can work well at my table. They are just the right size for my players to have their own tray. They sit fairly flat on the table, so should minimize dice leaning issues. Colors are very nice. The cardboard used in them is not very stout, but I think with careful use, they can last a while. When closed, the trays are stackable.The bad: I decided to test them out, clasp and unclasp all of them. One of the clasps failed first time. I will be contacting the seller to see if they can replace just the single tray. I don't have good vibes about the quality of the clasps, especially being open and closed over time, and I believe they will be a primary failure point of the trays.

I have a dice tower I requested for Christmas that I got after this dice tray. The fact is that even though you would think a dice tower is better for rolling than a simple tray, I believe I get more distance traveled with this tray, and more collisions to randomize the result. I have numerically balanced dice and they insanely keep having similar results from the dice tower, whereas the tray always seems variable. A smaller tray wouldn't work. I feel like this tray particularly gets the most distance and collisions for a natural randomized roll. It *is* slightly oversized when flat, such that it wouldn't fit in an 8.5" wide container, but it easily fits in an 11" wide container. For my bookbag, that's just fine, but it sticks out a bit from the books and folders I have with it. That's the ONLY downside I can think of with this, and that doesn't matter for me. I'm really happy with this and definitely recommend.

We pass these dice trays out to everyone for our DnD sessions. They're great for camping or car use. Perfect for laying out screws, bolts and small parts. So useful for so many things. Just don't get them wet since they are made of cardboard on the inside.
