Very good tray, my husband has METAL dice set and so, this thing takes a beating. Despite the heavy dice and the year that weve used it (twice a week for a year), it holds up, there's no dents, the velt is intacted and in good shape. Things like a truck. Seriously, get it.

If you want a tray that’s not going to get scratched and scuffed quickly, this isn’t that. But then again, you’re not going to get that without spending 2-3 times the money this cost. However, this tray is very large, has a sturdy wood frame, and does what you need for the price. The, felt, well...let’s be honest it’s pretty minimalistic. It’s thin and going to get scratched and scuffed. But that’s felt for you. From the look of things you probably could ultimately replace the felt with new felt or a better liner once it totally wears out. But that should take a while. Could you design your own tray for this price? Probably. But you do have to go to a well stocked hardware/hobby store, know what you’re doing, and have some diy tools around. For those of us who don’t or want the convenience of a pre-built tray, this is rock solid. I highly recommend this to someone on a budget.

The picture shows green felt lining. The item came with black.The wood is nice but is unfinished.I will be adding felt to the bottom so it does not scratch our table.

This is a good dice tray if you lucky enough to get it for under $15. Tray is quite large and seems sturdy, but as has been previously reported, mat is unevenly glued and came lightly scratched.

It's bigger than I visualized when I bought it, but this is perfect for your dice rolling needs. This guy makes the best noise when you roll your dice! Very satisfying!It does take some getting used to getting to get the dice to roll properly, but it's so worth it!

Unlike other dice trays the sides are lower so no hidden dice. Great for Yahtzee
