I normally wear a 34-35, got a 36 because I saw reviews saying they run small, and ended up having to exchange them for a 38. They run really small in the waist.Other than that they are great shorts. I don’t like shorts that rise too high above the knees when sitting down, which these don’t, so I appreciate the length. They are well below the knee when standing similar to board shorts. I also have a pair of the 11†that are right about knee level when standing, well above the knee when sitting, so buy whichever is your preference.You’ll need to wash them before you wear them because they come extremely ridged. You should always do with new clothes anyway so it’s not a problem, just mentioning it in case someone doesn’t expect to do that.Been wearing dickies for decades and it’s the same exact quality.

I love these shorts, they are comfy and durable. Make sure you listen to what many reviewers have stated however, as they definitely run small.

Dickies is one of my favorite brands especially when it comes to shorts. These aren’t the longest available inseams on Dickies shorts but know that they are likely to go past the knee, even on tall men. If you’re looking for the trend of extra short inseams and highly fitted legs, these probably aren’t the shorts for you.Other things to know about Dickies are the material feel and waist sizing. They are going to arrive sturdy and inflexible, and it’ll take a while for them to soften. On the plus side wrinkles really aren’t an issue. Also know that they tend to run small. I order a size or two up to try to make up for that, and have generally been okay.

The fit is otherwise as expected for Dickies, medium rise, good fabric, relaxed fit. BUT, these are the smallest "work pants/shorts" belt loops I have ever seen. They BARELY fit a leather 1.5" belt, which is odd considering people who typically wear work cloths don't wear noodle fashion belts. It seems limited to this style, as I have other Dickies shorts (Temp IQs and cargo) that comfortably fit a thick belt. Seems like someone at the factory mixed up measurements when setting the pattern, as these are smaller than nearly every pair of pants and shorts I own. That said, I have one belt that fit's OK-ish, and I like them otherwise.

These shorts are great, fit comfortably, and are way durable! But flexible enough that you can still have full range of motion!

I liked the look and the length. The waist runs a little small so I would buy a size bigger.

I really like these shorts for work. I was just a little disappointed that they didn’t fit like all the other dickies I have ordered from Amazon and the same supplier. These were smaller and I had already washed them so I could not return them. So if you like them yourself make sure you get them a size bigger than what you normally get

These WOULD be the perfect Dickies shorts, if the fit was accurate. My husband has TONS of Dickie flex/relax fit shorts, & he usually wears a 40, but read other reviews on the sizing, and ordered a 42. The 42 were FAR too tight for a relax fit, so we ended up having to order a 44. The 44 fit him just like the other store bought 40s he has. Other than sizing issue, the quality, comfort, color, fabric, pockets, etc. everything is perfect. Good luck!
