  • The Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Pump pressurizes the DEF fluid allowing it to be delivered into the DEF injector to mix with the exhaust fumes enabling the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system to reduce the amount of Nitrogen Oxide before releasing it from the vehicle resulting to a lower concentration of nitrogen oxide in the diesel emissions from the engine.
  • The DEF pump can easily be located on top of the reductant heater assembly inside the DEF tank. Do not use lubricants to prime o-rings or the pump itself, only use DEF fluid.

Does not give enough pressure. Still get the check engine light with this unit. Wish I could return it. Not a 2 minute job to replace, so I didn't have enough time to remove before the return date was available. Don't go with this brand
