Hour Meter
- Display shows total running time of machine and remains visible. The total hours max value is 99999 H;Total Hours reading displays from 0 to 9999.9 H, 0.1 H accuracy;Total Hours reading displays from 10000 to 99999 H, 1 H accuracy.
Waterproof
- It is sealed with epoxy resin, waterproof rate is IP 68. It is also shockproof and high temperature resistant to avoid damage during transportation and use.
Other Functions
- The timing starts when the detected signal passes through the spark plug wire. It quickly stops running after the engine is turned off, so it does not mistakenly record excess time. TOT hours are non-resettable. Automatic clearing when exceeding the maximum value.

I purchased this adapter to go on my inverter generator that I use on my RV and with other application. Because of the confined space of my generator, the wire wrap was a little tough to do and took some disassembly, but once I did that, it was a simple installation and works very well.

The hour meter went out on my Bowrider's inboard outboard engine. It is important to know engine hours so that maintenance can be kept up with. This unit was inexpensive and very easy to install since I followed the instruction exactly. It keeps a running total of all the hours to one decimal place that the engine has run. It has a built in battery backup so no worries over the winter when the boat isn't run. One thing I wish it had was the ability to preset the starting hours and not start from zero. I knew when I purchased it that it did not have that capability so no deduction, it just would be a nice feature.

Wow this hour meter is very good, a total of1/2 hour installation. Works great and now I can match the owners manual. P.S. the dealer wanted $60 for theirs. A great buy

I was skeptical but this is great it just wraps around the spark plug wire and that’s it I have washed my bike with it on and it hasn’t show any damage. I would highly recommend

I ordered and received two of these hour meters, one for the snow blower and one for the lawn mower. They arrived very quickly. The directions were very hazy.

Installed underneath control panel of snowblower to prevent accidental hits and to keep away from moisture. I'm sure it's water resistant or even water proof, but this is even better.

This little inductive hour meter should be considered to be a must-have for any motor that does not have an odometer or other monitoring mechanism. Oil changes on devices such as a generator are specified in engine hours and with low-cost units omitting the monitoring device, you are left to best-guess what that means based on start/stop times.Why not take the guess work out of the process?I installed this unit on a Champion 3400W inverting generator and the process was extremely simple. I drilled a very small hole in the top of the unit to accommodate the small pickup wire that is then wrapped a few times around the spark-plug wire. The unit is then fastened to the generator using the supplied screws, and that is it!I really wish that I had purchased and installed this run-time meter when I first got the generator. I definitely plan to do so on my next unit (if it does not come with one from the factory).
