However, it's important to note that the gauge comes with a specific size tee fitting – a 1/2 x 1/2 x 3/8 configuration. This might not be suitable for all home R/O systems, so you may need to source a different tee fitting for proper compatibility.While the gauge itself is top-notch, providing accurate readings and reliable performance, the limitation in fitting options is something to consider. It would be more convenient if the package included both common fitting sizes to cater to a wider range of systems.Despite this minor hiccup, the gauge has proven to be a valuable tool. Its accuracy and reliability have been impressive. Just keep in mind the potential need for an additional fitting purchase, depending on your specific R/O system setup.

I bought 2. One constantly leaked. I had to triple wrap with pipe tape n put 3 tiny copper washers inside your fittings to stop the leak. After that gauges work as expected

This works to test the pressure but on my unit the water being passed through the line to the RODI is smaller so this can only be used to test the pressure and then remove to reconnect the system

This is being marketed for use with reverse osmosis water filters. The problem is that the plastic connectors provided have "Shitong" printed on them. I looked them up and found the "Yuyao Shitong Purified Water Pipe Product Factory" in Zhejiang China. They're made out of POM which is Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal, polyacetal and polyformaldehyde. This is not water or food safe and does not comply with NSF-51 or NSF-61 code approvals. If you were to buy these parts individually, they would come with the California proposition 65 cancer warning on the packaging. I checked Lowes and Home Depot's versions of these fittings which were BrassCraft and SharkBite and they too have this cancer warning on the packaging.NSF-61 is the standard for “Drinking Water System Components-Health Effectsâ€, and deals with materials and products used in contact with drinking water.NSF-51 is the standard for “Plastic Material and Components used in Food Equipmentâ€, and deals with materials and products used in contact with foods and beverages.The fittings and piping that should be used in reverse osmosis systems are made out of polypropylene. If you search "John Guest polypropylene" on amazon you should find some.If you still plan on buying this, the T that comes with it is 3/8 inch and the iSpring water filter system I'm using has 1/4 inch piping so I needed to buy a separate T. Wrap the metal end of the gauge with about 14 wraps of Teflon tape to prevent leaks.

Works well, great for the price. The only disappointment was I needed to add a rubber gasket just below the gauge as it would not stop leaking even with a lot of Teflon tape.

Gauge works perfect, worth the money. Note* it only comes with a 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/4 tee fitting so for most home R/O systems you will need to get a different tee fitting to use. It should come with both options.

Perfect gauge. Sturdy and good construction. Will need plumbing tape to make sure it doesn't leak under high pressure. Fitting material isn't rated for potable water, but I use it for a aeroponic system so no problem for me!
