The way the name is written I thought it was numbers and letters. Also had a few pins that the letters were not attached.

These are cute and would possibly be good for thicker fabric, but when I tried to use them on quilting cotton, they either wouldn't poke through, or if they did, the hole was much larger than desired.

I'm reviewing "Dingion 104 Pcs Numbered Quilting Pins Alphabet Straight Pins 1.97 Inch Long Quilting Pins with Storage Box Positioning Pins with Colored Heads for Fabric DIY Jewelry Marking Craft Dressmaker" which I received via the VINE program.I thought these would be nice to get for when I am working on a quilt and need a certain number of A blocks, B blocks, C blocks, etc. or to bundle blocks together for working my rows/columns together.There are indeed 104 of the pens, but there are not the same number of As, or Bs, or Cs…. They also seem to be oriented in one set that would pin to the left and one set that would pin to the right, to keep the letter in the correct orientation. There isn't any rhyme or reason to how many face left or right…It would have been nice to have two complete sets facing one way and two facing the other. Nope… it looks like the only criteria was to have at least one of each letter…The pens themselves are of a larger gauge pin than I normally like, I prefer very thin, long pins for quilting but these will go through fabric and at the very least, they are cute. I don't think that I'll use them the way I intended but that remains to be seen. I have moved all the pins to a pin cushion I have all my other pins in so the little plastic boxes may be useful.

I counted, there are 104 pins. Multiple colors. Each set has at least one of each alphabet but no one set has a complete set in one color. They are all mixed.The pins are nice and sharp. I know because I poked myself with one, oh so lightly and quick, and I bled a tiny bit. And that is ok as it makes a timely test.I like pins like these however, I would have liked a full alphabet all in the same color. With four cases that would be A-Z in four sets, each set a different color. I have a thing for variety and order.I do recommend these pins for quilters and crafters.
