For the price this little train set is awesome and got it so the grandson would play with it rather than the expensive one around the Christmas tree. He is 3 1/2 and at that age group it is basically impossible for them to set the train up on the tracks as it takes patience to place it on the rails correctly. Kids love to touch it and it will derail easily. They will get easily bored it you tell them it is mainly to watch. Be prepared to sit there and put it back on the tracks time after time. Turning it on makes the locomotive jump and it basically takes two hands to get it to start correctly. For the price and entertainment it was well worth it though.

For the price this could be a really great gift just not for the age range that it says it’s for. The train is made out of a cheap plastic material that feels flimsy and will break easily. The dinosaurs are super tiny and will definitely be a choking hazard for the age group that it says it’s for. There was no remote. They came along with this sat and because it’s for Christmas we didn’t try to put it together but it doesn’t look like it would be too difficult.
