I'm new to calisthenics and just wanted something that would allow me to try some of the exercises. To that end, I wanted it to be as cheap as possible while still being usable. I think these fit the bill perfectly.They were easy to assemble. I did it in a few minutes with no problems. No tools were needed.They feel pretty robust. They're metal and don't feel flimsy. I have no worries putting my full weight on them.They're also pretty stable. The wide base legs make sure they have very little wobble, but there is still some wobble if you aren't directing your weight straight down. If you set them too far apart and try to push up on them applying force at an angle, they will try to tip. That's more user error, but is worth noting. Also worth noting is that I use these on carpeted floors. The experience may be different on hardwood, tile, etc.Finally, the price is right. After looking around at some other options, I believe these are among the best entry-level paralell/ dip bars on Amazon. There are likely better, more expensive options for calisthenics enthusiasts, but these worked just fine for a simple, cheap home gym.

I purchased this Dip Bar a couple years back. I currently weigh 220-230. I was at 240ish and it held my weight. The Bar might sway a bit, but it still works for what it was intended for.

Sturdy bars with a little wobble for a larger guy. My only complaint is that the padding is not thick enough so you gotta use towels for padding. Overall they’re a solid addition to your your home gym and can definitely unlock new strength you didn’t know you had.

Good for simple stuff like dips but not stable enough for me not to feel like they will open on me it does not stay still very woobli when doing dips I would not get this for calisthenics, you will hurt yourself. Spend the money on something made specifically by calisthenics people like semonster. I think that's how he spells it.

It’s not stable, and it’s NOT easily ADJUSTABLE. You would have to take off the screws and the pieces to adjust the height. I was hoping for a clocking mechanism where I can easily tuck it away. So if anyone is getting this for the convenience I’d stay away.
