Works great! This is the non-SWM type LNB for DirecTV, I used it for camping and tailgating. This LNB works great for high-def. To get the signal very quickly, I used a camera tri-pod where the legs can adjust so it's plumb before setting the elevation & azimuth. I also use the Dish Align, Compass and TiltMeter apps on my iPhone and an inline signal finder. Set the DirecTV Receiver to Multiswitch first and then Slimline 3 if you have the oval 18" x 20" dish. If you get a signal on the signal finder but the DirecTV receiver doesn't recognize the signal then you are pointer at the wrong satellite, use the Dish Align app to see all the other satellites up there, there are many. Usually I rotate the dish to the left (East) about 12° to find the DirecTV satellite, my receiver states 184° azimuth. Once I get the signal, I will places marks on the tri-pod to readjust the elevation easily the next time I setup.This LNB works very well.

The SL3 LNB was brand new; it installed without issue and was regonized by the receivers. It is currently in use and working perfectly. Sold by vista dist. and fulfiled by amazon this was a good deal.

Posted item shown a brand-new like item. But when it was delivered, you will received a totally worned out unit, that are fully beaten by weather. In short, they will send a junk unit

My directv was giving 771 error for half my channels. Changed out the LNB and its back working again. Great product! Thanks so much!

This didn't solve all my problems and I'm not sure that it even should. But, I was disappointed to receive one that was obviously used with bent portions of plastic. It didn't affect its ability to be used and I think it's working but, again, my problems may not be the result of the LNB anyway. However, had I received one in better condition, I wouldn't have any doubts in it's capabilities.Beware when buying...be prepared for a used, slightly damaged product.

Was having error 771 on all channels on satellite 99ca transponders 18 and 20. Signal level was 0 andshould have been high 80's 90's. Could not record AMC (254) or FOOD NETWORK (231). They recorded but nothing there.I needed a satellite transponder map showing what DTV channels were on which sat/tp (get it at DBSTalk forums) . I tested about 10 channels from 99ca tp 18 and 20 all 771 error. Worked with DTV support and had a code 43-xxx-xxx that they said was alignment problem. Just $50 plus parts, after 19 years. I'm planning on cutting the cord very soon.I replaced a Slimline 5LNB with 4 outputs to an HD DVR HR23-700 with this item in 10 minutes plus power up test time. Wife is happy again. You will lose sats 110 and 119 for Spanish/and other foreign packages.
